Expo Star of the Month December 2017 – Abby, Interpreter, Engager, Product Demonstrator – Shenzen China
To round off a year of exceptional talent here at Expo Stars our final Expo Star of the Month Award for December goes to Abby for her hard work at WSPID 2017.
The 10th Congress of the World Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases [WSPID] took place 2-5 December in Shenzen, China. WSPID was founded with the purpose of bringing together members of national and regional organizations in this specialty for an international congress. The congress is unique in attracting leading experts in the field who address on the diversity of infectious disease in regions around the world.
Our client was a leading global pharmaceutical company who were exhibiting at WSPID to promote its range of pediatric infectious disease medicines.
Abby’s role was to welcome the visitors to the stand and encourage them to participate in the client’s on-stand activities. Our client was really pleased with Abby’s work and said “Abby is a lovely girl – probably the best we have ever had. She even went to the effort to take us out to see the coast line of Shenzhen.”. A sure of example of one of our staff members going above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great exhibiting experience.
She scored top marks across all categories including punctuality, pro-activeness, positivity, and engagement. The client mentioned that she was always happy to speak and interact with anybody at the show and that she took an interest in the show and work itself. They were also thankful to have a bilingual hostess on the stand to help them with any language barriers. Abby speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
