How We Work
Client & Account Management
- Expo Stars offers a “single point of contact” account management service. So if you are serial international exhibitor; you will only ever need to contact one person to assist you to Staff all your events saving you considerable time and effort in managing different time zones and overcoming language barriers.
- We will endeavor to respond to all client email communication and send quotations within 24 hours.
- We will clarify your requirements in detail, before we send you our quotation and recommendations, ensuring that you get the possible solution for your event.
- Upon your approval of our quotation; we will then check availability of our staff, and send you a selection to choose from.
- You have the option to interview our staff by telephone or Skype Video before making your final selection.
- We will reserve the available staff options for up to 48 hours for you. If no decision is received within this period, then we will release the staff for other work.
- We will send you a detailed Briefing/Staff Schedule template document to complete upon the booking confirmation so that the staff members have all the relevant information about your company and your event objectives before they attend the event to work for you.
- You will receive the invoice and our terms and conditions before the event. Our payment terms are strictly 50% in advance and 50% in arrears.
- During the event; your Account Manager will be available on the telephone to solve any issues.
- For larger projects which involve 5 or more staff; we will allocate a team leader on site.
- After the event; you will receive a request to fill in a staff feedback form to help us measure and improve the quality of our staffing teams and our service.
Booking Period
As our staff are experienced event professionals , they are normally booked between 4-8 weeks in advance. We generally recommend that you start looking for promotion staff around 2-3 months in advance so that you can secure the best possible staffing for your event. This especially applies to Presenters, Product Demonstrators and Lead Generators as they are always in demand and have to manage a very busy schedule.
Our Pricing Structure
We do not compete for your business on price. We provide a professional quality service, and we motivate our staff by paying them what they are really worth. We will offer you a fair quotation that reflects the quality of the staff, the quality of our service, and the results we will generate for you. We realize that you have a choice of Promotional Staffing Agencies so we try to remain as competitive as possible without compromising the quality of our service. If you are looking to make your choice based on the cheapest possible price then we are not the right Promotion Staffing agency for you.
Promotional Dress/Uniform Standards
Please note that we do not provide Promotion Staff for projects where the requirement is to be dressed in “Hot Pants” or scantily clad clothing. We refuse all requests for such projects. We firmly believe that Promotional Staff at Exhibitions and Tradeshows should be dressed in a respectful and tasteful clothing/uniform, that doesn’t compromise their integrity or self image. Unless otherwise agreed, our default dress code is Business Attire consisting of a white shirt/blouse, black suit jacket, black trousers or skirt, and smart black closed toe comfortable shoes.
Staff Recruitment Policy
We recruit our promotion staff using the same selection criteria worldwide. We ensure that each candidate meets Expo Stars high standards by reviewing their CV, including education, work experience, and then following this up with a personal interview to identify their strengths, weaknesses, personality and self confidence. Only if the candidate ticks all the boxes, are they then offered a contract with the agency.
