We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be assertive, relationship-oriented, and possess a keen eye for detail. In this role, working within a team environment, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing client relationships, ensuring the successful execution of exhibition projects, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Understand clients’ goals and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
2. Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with the client’s project management team to ensure the successful planning and execution of exhibitions.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and promptly address any issues or deviations.
3. Attention to Detail:
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of account management.
- Review and proofread project documents, proposals, and contracts.
- Ensure that all client specifications and requirements are met accurately.
4. Sales and Growth:
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Develop and implement account growth strategies to increase revenue.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status, timelines, and deliverables.
- Handle client inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, including revenue, client satisfaction, and project status.
- Use data and insights to make informed decisions and improve account management strategies.
Requirements of the Account Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the exhibitions, events or recruitment industry.
- Strong assertiveness and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and client satisfaction targets.
